smiley - love hi friend,
i think the article pretty much covered everything. like you mentioned the word and the world of spiritualism covers a wide area.. followers come from all walks of life..
you also mentioned the frauds in the world of spiritualism.. you can usually spot them as they'll be the ones charging a fortune for a simple reading.. best to stick to the temples as the most it will cost you is whatever you put into the collection plate, and that of course is optional.. of course you can't be guaranteed a message from beyond, but i find the open circle such a serine affair, i always felt better within myself after going...
as i mentioned i am a tarot reader, but these days only do occassionally for family and friends... i used to do it proffessionally many years ago, i did charge for a reading, but only to cover travel costs really..
thankyou for your reply... smiley - rose

smiley - love hi again friend...
i've been reading tarot for about nearly 18yrs now.. i bought my first deck out of curiosity and found that i could pick out meanings from them.. then i made the mistake of reading the booklet that came with the deck.. it threw me completely... then a friend told me to ignore the booklet and go with my own intuition... he explained to me that although the cards hold a basic meaning every reader will pick up something different from them.. from his advise everything just fell into place.. and like you say, you are constantly learning on the subject... i usually use the celtic cross spread these days to do a reading, but there are so many to choose from and don't be afraid to invent one of your own.... tarot is a personal thing i find, go with whatever feels right to yourself and not what is the norm..
thanks for the chat..

Hello,

Your review of Spiritualism says; "Spiritualism is a way of life. It is not religion; it is an association of like-minded people who may or may not belong to any of the world faiths."

Spiritualism is actually a religion and legally registered as such!

It is equally a way of life & for those who wish to pursue it as such a wordlwide religion.

When I wrote this entry on Spiritualism, Chris It was not then recognised as an official religion. As you point out it now has the recognition of the state it is a Religion.
Talking with many who attend spiritualist churches, they still feel as I do “It is a Way of Life” but it is good to have the recognition of "religion".
