Reading your Entry and seeing the pictures and "tasting the whole of it", I - too - want to say; " well done".
I love the Renaissance - as much as the Baroque - and always have some (posters of) paintings of those days in my living room.
It's a very inspiring and sensual world, because of its attitude and style, so to speak.
I might return here more than now.

Baroque? Hmm... I thought about doing Gothic next... yes, maybe I should do Baroque, too. I don't think that there already is an entry about it, I'll have a look.

Yes, there is an Entry about one of the musicians besides Bach.
It is my favorite English composer, Henry Purcell
