I'm going to have to object, though, that all the advantages you list seem to be rather... negative...

I've found there are very few advantages... one of them, however, is the degree of trust and honesty that is required. If you can't handle those, it isn't going to work... if you can, it can only add to the relationship.

Oh, and... further tip for surviving over the internet: ensure one of you is a programmer . I'm one and it's helped quite a bit... we use a chat program that I wrote, as well as some nice little games... definitely nicer than being restricted to third-party stuff...
