Vanilla Wafer Pie Crust

This crust needs to be prebaked

What you'll need:[Makes 2 pies]

  • 3 cups - 475g - of Vanilla Wafer crumbs (very fine crumbs if made in a blender or food processor)
  • 1/2 cup - 63g - of confectioner1's sugar
  • 12 tablespoons of melted butter
  • Three 9" - 20cm - pie pans

What to do

  1. Mix the ingredients together until well blended.
  2. Pat the mix into the bottom of two deep 9" pie pans and use a third pie pan to form the crust.
  3. Bake crust for 10 minutes at 350°F (180°C, gas mark 4).
