I have many memories of this beautiful island. In May 2002 I travelled there with my school orchestra. And we performed four concerts including one in I/Hi-raklion. We also visited the Iraklion School of Music and stayed just 5 km from the city.
2 years before I had also gone with my family to Crete when we stayed in Rethymonon a beautiful city on the North Coast with a Venetian harbour and huge castle. So Crete is definitely one of my favourite places and currently my Aunt, Uncle & two cousins are also staying there!
