I only realised it was worthwhile being a metallurgist when I realised Liz was one (read whatever subtext you like into that)

It wasn't just me - in fact I didn't even *start* it. Jordan laid all the groundwork and wrote most of it, I just filled in the character profiles.

Actually, now that you mention it, I do have a vague memory of this lying about Collaborative, or the Flea Market for some time. Wish I'd snapped it up now.
