So many questions....
Anyway - how's this for a pair of linked one hit wonders:
'19' by Paul Hardcastle (so does this count as a one-hit wonder - he did chart a couple more times I think, once with Larry Olivier I seem to recall, but is only remembered for this track). Song including various Viet Nam war reports.
'N-n-n-n-n-nineteen Not Out' by The Commentators. Shall we call it a 'pastiche' (as I don't think I'm allowed to say p*ss take) of the above, with voices done by Rory Bremner. Instead of Viet Nam the action moved to the equally disastrous England cricket squad, whose average score was 19...
And while we're talking of one hit wonder comedy sports records (well, I appear to be at least), how about 'Chalk Dust' by The Brat? Another English comedian (Roger Kitter, was it?) doing his finest John McEnroe impersonation. Well, I thought it was funny (still got it somewhere).
