I, as a native of DC, would like to respectfully disagree with the Researcheer who wrote this article: the best time to visit DC, from my point of view anyways, is the summer. No one is around, surprisingly: all of the residents have gone elsewhere. The emphasis on the ease of travel by public transportation is good.
