ok...is it just me or did they boo boo (and in the first scene of the first show too). When the Goa'uld come through the gate and take the blonde...um...that shouldn't have worked...should it? I thought the gate works one way? In other words, they would have had to come through, turn off the gate, open a new worm hole, and THEN snatch the blonde and head off on their merry way.

Just a thought...

It's usually assumed that they came through, snatched the blonde, then reopened the Gate - dialling manually or using a Goa'uld doohickey of some sort - and left.

That's what I thought to...except that they do a pretty good job of keeping the gate in view throughout that scene. Ah well, best not think to hard on it right? Great show though!
