A blue icing cake about a metre square with a picture of the Stargate on it was served, the whole thing happened on the Stargate set on the ramp to the gate- with most of the media in the control room. Anderson said contrary to popular belief he liked Vancouver and the producers said one of the reasons they were such a success (two more shows to beat X-Files record number of shows) was because of the Canadian crew (they're Canadian as well). Everyone joked around a lot but it was revealed that Michael Shanks was the biggest practical joker followed closely by Christopher Judge. Amanda Tapping said in the interview I did that all the joking around and the family feeling made it easy for the writers to write for the show and for the cast to get along for so long.
