Gus fans may be pleased to learn that the Gus Honeybun video, featuring that catchy Ed Welch theme tune, is now available to download at the wonderful TV Ark website (approved by the South West Film & Television Archive). As well as Gus at large in Plymouth, and brief glimpses of various announcers, there's a brief snatch of a comparatively quiet Magic Birthdays slot with Uncle Roger Shaw. The eagle-eyed may notice that Gus in the studio is indeed a different prop to the one in the video - watch the ears!

Incidentally, fans of Mr. Welch's jolly compositions can also catch another of his classics on the same page, 'Gardens for All', a real earworm.
