Where did the other 66 years of her life go?

I don't understand why this article only
covers a third of the Queen Mother's life.
Are more articles planned? If so, I wish
there had been some indication in the article.

Was her life as Duchess of York the most signi-
ficant part of her long life? If so, why?
Was her performance as Queen from 1937 to 1952(?)
unsatisfactory in some way? Will there be another
article on that? In her later years, she was often
described as the most beloved of all the Royals,
so unsatisfactory queenly performance does not
compute either.

Was her position as an inlaw (i.e., not born
*into* the Royal Family itself) determined to be
a disadvantage in getting her full life into
the edited Guide? Okay, let's take a poll of any
researchers who might wish to take it: If you
could read only one of the following Guide articles,
which would it be?:

1. The full life of the Queen Mother
2. Thumb twiddling
3. In defense of pyjamas
4. Vomit

I personally would choose #1. But then, I'm biassed.
(Please, no jokes about that last work! smiley - winkeye)

smiley - erm

Hmmm. The next day, there was another article
about the Queen Mother, this time treating
her love of horse racing.

Maybe I should just wait and see how many
more articles turn up?
