A Conversation for Discrepancies in the Theory of Evolution - Part II

I have found over the years that scientists and other teachers who believe in evolution gave an irrational fear of evaluating the problems of evolution and when in conversation often become angry and accuse you of being a "Bible thumper" as if to say you are stupid and your line of reasoning is also stupid. This is an "ad hominem" fallacy of logical reasoning. I myself am a conservative in that I always ask the question, why is something happening. In science, laws tell us why energy flowing from a greater concentration to a lower concentration makes molecules combine, or the purposeful striking of keys on a grid lead to a series of words that can be decoded to have intellectual meaning on a system accessible to millions of people worldwide, many of whom do not believe the randomness can in any way lead to order, or a pattern of energy relationships capable of understanding the meaning of zero.

Hello there smiley - ok

"I have found over the years that scientists and other teachers who believe in evolution gave an irrational fear of evaluating the problems of evolution and when in conversation often become angry and accuse you of being a "Bible thumper" as if to say you are stupid and your line of reasoning is also stupid. People may claim your line of reasoning is stupid (notice: not an ad hominem attack) because you probably offer supernatural explanations for scientific phenomena. I may be wrong...

"I myself am a conservative in that I always ask the question, why is something happening."

What has "conservative" got to do with that question?

"In science, laws tell us why energy flowing from a greater concentration to a lower concentration makes molecules combine..."

Umm, what?

"...or the purposeful striking of keys on a grid lead to a series of words that can be decoded to have intellectual meaning on a system accessible to millions of people worldwide,"

Are you talking about the internet now??

"...many of whom do not believe the randomness can in any way lead to order"

Believe what you want, it happens. If you wish to remain ignorant, fine. You can read more about "emergence" here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emergence

"...or a pattern of energy relationships capable of understanding the meaning of zero."

Yep, lost me again.

smiley - cheers
