Did you have 'Sorcery' for it & did it work all the time?
I always had problems loading it up.
Used to love those games. Do you know if I could get manic miner, Jet Set Willy or Technichian ted for the pc?

Uh, it's long ago... but I had Sorcery on my CPC and it worked well, as I recall correctly. Nice Game. Dunno if these games are available for the PC, but there are emulators for the CPC. Try searching the Internet, I'd say.

Hmmm, difficult. I've tried an emulator for the CPC too, but it didn't work on my machine. It didn't like Win2K, I think. And emulators also sometimes require hardware like a joystick or a specific audio card or whatever, which isn't common for a PC at work... Then, today's PC's are often way too fast for ancient games and make them unusable, unless it's a real good emulator which takes care of that.
But I was lucky and found that the game I was looking for (Elite) had been ported to the PC and could be used without an emulator. BTW, there's an excellent article on Elite at A711776.

I had a friend once until he found Elite...
It took his soul you know.
Let me know if you can find a decent emulator thats not too fussy.
Silly int it, as computers get more advanced we want to go back further and further to get nostalgia?
Anyone for Pong?
