A Conversation for Democracy

It's worth remembering that Greek Democracy only worked because slaves did all the chores. Being an optimist I'm hoping that we're moving to a time where machines and computers do the chores allowing us to talk and think out what we really believe before voting.

We are deveolping into a whiner-ocracy, where people who whine the loudest get what they want.
That seems to be the enslavement of the non-whineing populace.
So perhaps we will get those slaves, so democracy can work here.

Well, you don't make a crop of 6-billion people just to sit around and talk about jolly things....er....are.

A few years back I would have agreed with that. Imagine a stadium full of 6 billion people! But in the future, I've a feeling we will find millions of people taking part in discussions via future versions of what we now call the internet.
