Great entry. I've been waiting for this.
There is a typo in there:
2'-deoxyribonucleic acid
You are missing one 's' deSoxy...
BTW... What about A708257 could it be included posthumously?
Thanks?

Is that a new convention? I've never seen it spelt like that.
As in the 2' position of ribose is deoxygenated.
That link would indeed be cool - unfortunately your article was finished afer mine so it wasn't possible before.

Woah!
Stop it! My fault, my fault...
Maybe my English just isn't good enough. In Portuguese, German, Italian, French, Spanish and whatnot there's an 'S' in there, so I thought it would be like that in English too. In fact, most of my English talks do have transparencies with the 'S' in it.... Maybe I've been writing it wrong the whole time.... Oopsey. Sooory.
Maybe I should check things first before I post something. I was sooo sure.
Sorry. Please excuse me...

I was wondering whether there was an entry on pH. Great explanation I'll have to find something else to write about
Posted on this thread since there are a couple of other typos in one sentence that have been overlooked:
In Strength of Acidity and Basicity 2nd paragraph:
...much more that 0.1 moles/liter of pure acetic acid must be added
that > than ; liter > litre
