A Conversation for Etiquette for Travellers on the London Underground

This article is missing the important addition of Oyster Cards. These thickish plastic cards facilitate using the tube. They are pre-loaded with money which is automatically taken off the card as you pass through the entry or exit gates of the underground system. You can have them connected to your credit card or bank account for money to be taken automatically when they run low so that you never have to find cash for your travel.
Please note that if they are broken in any way (lose a corner for instance) they will cease working as they have a wire that runs round the circumference and if this is broken they will not be recognised by the machines. So don't break anyone's Oyster.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
