I love it when tube drivers actually speak their mind, especially during rush hour.
I was on a train pulling into Goldhawk Road and it overshot the end of the platform by a whole carriage, then the driver sarcastically said, "Blimey, the brakes on these things are shocking!"
That sort of thing nicely takes the edge of a ride home at the end of a stressful day. Everyone it the carriage was smiling!

Yesterday, when we coming home from Brixton, the exasperated tube driver declared to all and sundry over the intercom;
'Sorry for the delay. We are being held up. Probably by a butterfly flapping it's wnihgs somewhere...'
