A Conversation for Etiquette for Travellers on the London Underground
Buskers

Several tube stations now license buskers.
Whether they're licensed or not, I try to spare a coin or two for them because at least they're not begging.
The repertoire seems to have improved in recent years. Instead of "losing my religion" and "here comes the sun", there are more unaccompanied classical pieces (saw one busker with a recorder) or playing somethig a bit less bland (the guitarist last night was playing Morrisey's "bigmouth strikes again"). Keep an eye out for the one in one of the central London tube stations - Sylvester the cat costume & playing a trumpet at the foot of an escalator. Also a bloke singing reggae in a similar place.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
