Speaking as the one who wrote the referenced article on Volvos, I have both a sense of humour and an Ovlov. I also use a bicycle as my main daily transport, and I have a Honda Civic too. I don't ride a motorbike as I would never get to ride it - it's either the pushbike to work or the car with the kids.
My bro-in-law, who has had a series of bikes and currently rides a 1000cc BMW, has had two Ovlovs. We both like the Planet Ovlov strip (and Ogri, of course).
Ovlovs can be huge fun - but only in specific ways. Like the hilarious game of watching your workmate's three-year-old French car being rescued by the RAC, and offering him a lift in your twelve-year-old Volvo. OK, not quite as much fun as a trike, but it has its moments....
