Of things to cause 'wind' you missed Brussel Sprouts, and mints - especially breath freshener mints. They do indeed cause very quiet but highly stinky farts. Apparently. smiley - blush

Blowing off/blew off is the childrens' choice, that way great merriment can be had from adult announcing that their hat 'blew off'.

And last but not least, lemon balm tea can stop wind dead in it's tracks if it's caused by stomach problems, and I heard that lavender oil can as well, but take it on a sugar cube because it tastes disgusting!

And black salsifies. Ooooooh! That's a flavour, rich and colourful (if you know what I mean). In German they are called 'Schwarzwurzeln' (lit.: black root veggies) but often nicknamed 'Furzwurzeln' (you guess the translation) smiley - winkeye

In what appears to be a Freudian slip, I first read 'Bossel Sprouts' in the first posting smiley - silly.

Under the beer section, I'd like to add 'Andechs Dunkler Doppelbock'. More a liqueur than a beer, you wouldn't notice its alcoholic content because of the rich taste. And it doesn't reveal its other qualities before the next morning...

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho

Is it true Bossel, that a German (or possibly Austrian) term of endearment is 'hasenpfurtz' - bunny fart? smiley - biggrin

Here's a riddle...

Vaterlos, mutterlos
ohne Schmerz geboren
schreiend in die Welt gesetzt
rettungslos verloren.

In English, this something like:

born without a father, born without a mother,
born without inflicting pain,
brought into the world, crying.
Doomed. There's no salvation.
