This is the homespace of the 1st Faschings- und CarnevalsVerein of the GermaniaConnection, allegedly founded in 1811. This space used to be a colourful thing with lots of imagery and even background music, but then came Rupert, the h2g2 downtime. h2g2 came back up like the Phoenix rose from its own ashes - which is quite similar to what Carnival in Germany is doing every year.
