In Australia one of the standard bottle openers was the door latch of any General Motors Holden built between 1948 and 1966. The trouble with this was that you had to hold the bottle upside down thus risking losing some of it's contents. Either that or you could roll the car onto it's roof

I tried using a 17mm "Siebzehner" and id didn't work.
(Obviously, I'm no engineer!)
