This is a great article, very well done.
I just wanted to say that it's important to look where you're going and to turn your head in the direction you want to go. The horse can feel you turn your head and will follow wherever you look. Past the beginer level you are discouraged from using the reins to steer, you're supposed to use your head and legs.

AH! Sounds like entry material to me.
I just wanted the concept raised out of the Flea Market and corrected at the beginners level; but, I whole-heartedly support your taking the subject to the next level!!!
