well, it's a matter of personal preferences or taste or whatever you call it. Actually, M.O.'s music is not meant to be running in the backgroud but should rather be *listened* to - use headphones and close your eyes. Only after listening to a record/CD for the 10th time you'll discover some instrument which you never were aware of before. Same happens if listening 20 times etc.

Oh, pity you! IMHO it's the single best piece from that CD (which all in all is not really one of his best). But 'Lament'.... aaaaah! Perhaps you should try some CD shop where you can listen to it?

Sorry I'm late.

For the MP3s, have you tried KaZaA?

And Tres Lunas, the new (?) album, is good, but Songs of Distant Earth is still his best piece, in my opinion.

(on a side note, The Clash's "Rock the Kasbah" is pretty incredible too...)

sorry all,but tb3 is the best album.i was lucky enough to be at horseguards to not only see it live but also catch the final rehearsal.since then man in the rain is a track i can't listen too without smiling.
