A Conversation for The Chopper Motorcycle

Having ridden motorcycles for the last 23 years, and having built my own chopper/lowrider From a 750 Honda, I can categorically state that building a chopper entails a lot more than just stripping off unnecessary bits and making it look pretty ( as anyone who has done the same will probably agree ). I'm not trying to "diss" the researcher that wrote this entry, but I do think that a lot of relevant info has been left out. By the way, if my bike had a "plastic chassis" I think that would be the first thing to be replaced! My bike was an ongoing project for about three years, and was never quite how I wanted it even when I sold it after five years.
you have to be totally committed to build a chop, and think of a budget, then treble it and you might just do it if you can keep your sanity in the process. Otter
