Looks good, can't wait to try! However, I'm going to have to make an alteration to the recipe. My hamburger patty is just slops of vegetables mixed with egg and flour ( think I'll use primarily lentils... ) and fried in a small amount of olive oil. can't wait! (But may have to try low-cost ordinary cheese)

This is actually a very flexible recipie. Leave the beef out entirely for a grilled cheese sandwich, or add thin-sliced broccoli, or a standard pre-cooked veggieburger pattie.
I assume you'll use margarine?
Tell me how it turns out!

Boca Burgers are particularly good veggie burgers. When cooked over a grill or in a skillet (don't microwave them, they do not hold up well) they taste just like a big juicy meat patty. Also, there is a product out on the market now--soy margarine/butter. It's a great no-fat, no animal-products, no strange chemicals subsitiute for the real thing. If you want to to go vegan with this recipe, this is the way!
