A Conversation for Tea
Tea in the Sahel

Does anyone have any ideas/experiences/recipes for making tea in the Malian/Senegalese/Ivoirian manner? They make it from the Gunpowder Green Tea, but boil the leaves over the fire, then pour the decoction into another teapot and add sugar, mint, and perhaps vanilla sugar. The sweet, heavy brown liquid is then served in shot glasses with foam on top. I can try to explain how if anyone's interested, but I defer to those who are real aficionados.
