Why this obsession with Earl Grey? Surely Irish Breakfast or Russian Caravan are infinitely more interesting.

Absolutely. I'll never forget good old Russian tea made in those huge Samovars when I was in Moscow. (Especially after the food!) As far as old Earl Grey goes, and he must have been one of those anal Englishmen with a dubious moustache, I think Lady Grey is a far better blend, if you like that sort of thing. Personally, I'm hooked on Darjeeling!

I've always liked Lady Grey though I have to admit that's at least in part because of the little blue flowers in the blend. My current favourite coffee shop also make this divine vanilla tead blend. Just beautiful on a cold Saturday morning after some retail therapy.

I always enjoy a good oriental meal washed down with cup after cup of Chinese Tea, its SO refreshing. Now when can I afford the next restaurant outing........

There's never enough money or time to go to restaurants I find. Also very very nice is the Indian spiced tea (chai) after a banquet. I found a recipe and it's easy to make - very good on cold afternoons.
