A Conversation for Tea
Hard & soft water

Another thing to bear in mind... if you live in a hard water area, you'll most likely find unsavoury bits of goop floating around on the surface of your tea - and all the effort of warming the pot, putting the milk in first, etc. goes to waste. I thought those water filter things they advertise on the TV were a bit of a con, but (perhaps) surprisingly, they do appear to work! Just enjoyed a lovely mug of tea just now, goop-free, smooth and unadulterated. Gorgeous.
(Completely different subject, but some of those Twinings fruit infusions are rather nice as well )
Happy tea-drinking,
Azimuth
