Radio 7 have recently broadcast the following "Toff" plays:

"The Toff and the Runaway Bride" (6 episodes)
"The Toff on the Farm" (6 episodes)

They both starred Terence Alexander as "The Toff" and from a reference in one of the plays they seem to have been made in about 1976.

Does anyone know if any others were made?

Sorry its taken me so long to get round to answering this. I had no idea that Dad's Toff series was on Radio. Do please tell me more. Best Richard (Creasey)

Thank you for your reply.

All I can tell you is that "The Toff and the Runaway Bride" was broadcast on Radio 7 about February/March this year before I had access to digital radio. However, I have managed to get the complete 6 x 30 minute episodes in mp3 format which seem to have been recorded from a BBC World Service broadcast.

On March 11th until 15th April this year Radio 7 broadcast "The Toff on the Farm" which I recorded off-air on to cassette. Again there were 6 x 30 minutes episodes. From a reference in this particular series I assumed that it was made about 1976.

Terence Alexander plays "The Toff" and Robert Dorning plays Jolly. The series were dramatised by Roy Lomax and produced by John Fawcett Wilson.
