i got the abbreviated tour of lansing a couple of years ago by a friend who was going to school at msu. i guess i didn't realize that lansing and east lansing were two different places, but now that i think about it, maybe he did mention that.
it's a great entry, shagbark! i hope i get to visit there again next time i'm in michigan (we're usually closer to detroit when we're up there).
