One thing the Mayor of Lansing takes prides in is the diversity of the citizenry. When the US census was held in 2010 People had an option of saying mixed race. 4.1% chose this option. That was more than any other comparably sized city in the US. Second was Tacoma Washington and Killeen Texas, both with 3.8%.

curious- we already had 99 percent listed by race. I wonder where the 4.1% came from. Must be three percent checked more than one box.
