Hey, Whoami? told me that he just edited your entry and that it now is part of the recommended guide! Congratulations! It really is a great entry!
And I see you have included the Methos Chronicles... Cool! I watched one or two episodes but they take kinda long to load on my computer, so,...
Anyway, just wanted to congratulate you!
Methos
Congratulations!

Thanks Methos, and thanks for pointing out the Methos Chronicles. As you might see from the misplaced thread now attached to this entry (for no readily apparent reason), I've popped my next offering onto Peer Review: Fan Fiction - a user's guide. I know you've read the entry already, but if you want to comment to PR, I'd really appreciate it.
I hope your Mongolian Folktales project works out for you, by the way, and if you need an extra reteller, don't hesitate to ask. The Post article version was fascinating.
Later.
The Prophet.
Congratulations!

I'm now even more glad that I left it at the first Highlander film.
I feel that you are obviously making great sacrifices for the increase of human knowledge by sitting through all of this dross and please be assured that it is greatly appreciated!
Congratulations!

Hey, thanks. I'm working on the folktales. I alreday translated two tales, but it's really kind of hard 'cause the Mongolian language works totally different than german - or English. Uff! So yeah, maybe I'll take you up on that offer to help me...
And I just read the fan fic article once again. It's really good. I'm sure it will make it through Peer Review!

Congratulations!

Methos -I hope so; I'm rather proud of it. Plus I feel I'm beginning to have a fairly rounded selection of edited articles now, with this and the fanfic, ninjas, and Erszebet Bathory and all. Plus my film composers project, which is in subbing.
As for the folktales, I'm afraid I can't help with the Mongolian translating - neither speaking nor reading a word of Mongolian - but I can have a pop at rewriting the traditional tales to avoid infringing on the copyright of a particular edition, which I believe you were having some problems with.
WH - I heartily recommend that you continue to have not seen Highlander II-IV, as they are all very bad. In fact, all three have found a home in the Bad Movie Mecca on my homepage, alongside classics such as Sanctuary and Beowulf (the Christopher Lambert, post-apocalyptic techno-medieval version, that is). I've decided that my ill-spent youth watching trashy movies will not have been completely in vain if I can help steer people away from dross like Chuck Norris's Hellbound.
The Prophet.
Congratulations!

Ninjas? Did I read corectly? I have to read that one!
And I didn't thought, that you'd speak Mongolian. No, my problem is more translating the tales from German into a somewhat folktalish English, if you know what I mean...

Congratulations!

Well, I can translate from English to folktaleish English, but that's about my limit. Still, as little help as that may be, it is yours if you need it.
The Prophet.
