hi there...
would just like to know whether the healing time or the operation might differ for someone who is highly myopic compared to someone who is not?

In my experience, healing was very rapid at first, then slowed down for the final adjustments. In PRK, The period with the contact bandages is the same as far as i know. It may just take longer for your eyes to completely heal. With Lasik, the healing is even more rapid and shouldn't take more than the initial day or two for your eyes to adjust, then there will be a longer period of time when your eyes level out. Keep in mind that if you are highly myopic they may not be able to fully correct your vision. I think that is if you are over a +6. at 20/200, i was only around a +2.
