Queen of Where ?

The title of this (edited?) entry is offensive and disparaging to those "subjects" of HMQ who live in Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland - not to mention the Territories.
Although Betty Windsor may well consider herself "Queen of England", I see no reason to perpetrate this (common) error in h2g2.

It still could upset some of the Queens subjects in this noble land of ours is 'The United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland'.
She also is the Lord of Mann to the citizens of the Isle of Man and the Duke of Normandy to those in the Channel Islands, and I believe the BBC has responsibilities to those in both of these places.

"Live in" Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland? Really I thought people were sent there as some form of punishment for misdeeds not yet uncovered! LOL

perhaps "Her Brittanic Majesty "would have been more appropriate.

The artical actually says "Great Britain" and "United Kingdom" - it doesn't mention "England" at all - were you perhaps just thinking it said "England" so you could rant a bit?
The United Kingdom is defined as "the nation state consisting of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland".
Great Britain is defined as "an island situated north west of continental Europe, the eighth largest island in the world. it forms the main part of England, Scotland, and Wales. Various adjacent islands (e.g. Anglesey, Shetland, Western Isles) are counted as part of Great Britain, but not Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands.
I think that covers everything.
And I'm Scottish by the way.
