Douglas Adams in Los Alamos

Spent a weekend with Douglas Adams in Los Alamos in 1994. He told a funny story about a hunter, a bear, and rough sex. I laughed. Standing in the Los Alamos Museum gift shop, surrounded by full scale models of nuclear weapons, I made a somewhat derivative joke about the availability of 20,000 sun block. He tittered.
An utterly charming man. I remember listening to Hitchhikers with my dad in Australia.
Cried when he passed.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
