People with breathing problems

I have heard (although this may be an old wives tale) that sufferers will usually have some kind of breathing or lung problem. I sometimes suffer from this, as does my husband and brother. I have asthma, my husband has scarred lungs and my brother suffers from chronic bronchitis, which has led to asthma-like symptoms.

There are lots of anecdotal connections between RLS and other conditions, including spinal problems, breathing problems, Parkinson's disease, old age, etc. etc.

The only clinicaly verified connections I know are between spinal problems and RLS. That is not to say other connections do not exist. I have SEVERE RLS and also have sleep apnea. Is there a connection? I don't think anyone knows for sure.

Oddly enough one cure for my mild RLS is sleping on a bean bag instead of pillow, two likely reasons for ease spring to mind, increased blood flow to the legs as heart is now above them and/or changing breathing, I have no knowledge of suffering from apnea though.
