This is advice for anyone who suffers from very bad bites. If you go to the doctor before you travel he can give you a cortizone (don't know how to ispell it though) injection which will make your bites less itchy and inflamed and will stop them getting infected. It lasts for aprox 3 months and IT REALLY WORKS!!!!!

Personally, I don't think b eing injected with Cortizone ( a Steroid) is a good idea or sollution to the problem of mosquito bites. If you get bitten, just forget aout it. If it iches, use Calomine lotion, indent a cross over the bite. This part may sound weird but I've been dealing with these pesky bugs all my life. (religion has nothing to do with the cross. I'm an agnostic!)
