Haskell was the bane of my existance last semester, simply because people would ask what language I was learning, and I would say "Haskell", and they kept trying to correct me - "Oh, you mean Pascal?" - VERY annoying!

That's the most amusing thing I've heard today... grin... (although, admittedly, I only just got up).
Great entry, hmm, I might have to have a play with this Haskell thing, it sounds quite fun...

Oh it is, it is. And yes, I've had people tell me I mean Pascal too! Although I do actually program in Pascal as well...
I did consider trying to write GuidePost for Linux in Haskell, but decided that C++ might be a better option, especially because the GTK+ bindings for Haskell are a tad on the immature side.
Someone else has heard about it?!

That is oh to funny, I have never heard of people doing that. Makes me want to do it to the next person who talks about Haskell :-p
