The best waffle I ever had was at the Mirage hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, Earth. This is an establishment known primarily for turning large piles of money into empty air, rather than making waffles.

The absolute worst waffle I've ever had was from an establishment known primarily for creating waffles. The name of this place has been deleted to protect the innocent, but you can be sure there's one right down the street from you.

A long time ago (ok.. maybe a month ago), when I was nothing more then a naive lil' demon, I thought
"Hey, waffles! What more could you ask for at breakfast? Warm and sugary, mmm good!"
And so I was happy and secure thinking that waffles were an ideal food-- for breakfast. Unknowingly,
I walked into one of those quaint little diners with another demon-type friend of mine, took a seat, and
browsed over the menu. In the mood for some dessert, my eyes drifted to the bottom of the menu,
gazing over pies and cakes of all differant kinds. I glanced down at a name that caught my fancy...
something French (what the name was, I wish I would recall). Curious, I asked the waitress what sort
of delecasy this might be, picturing some sort of interesting cake or creamy French mousse.
"A waffle... with ice cream on top.", she replied.
I gasped in surprise. This I would have to see. So I ordered it. After an impatient ten minute wait,
the woman finally came back with our selections. She put the tray down, and lo' and behold! What did
I see? My beloved breakfast food... covered in a large scoop of chocolate ice cream. I picked up my
fork and knife, and dug in. It was actually pretty good. A bit soggy, though. Look for it at your local
small diner, it's worth a try.
And i'll never look at breakfast the same way again.

And with chocolate syrup and whipped cream!
