Do you mean it when you say that a disease was accidentally inroduced to the UK and then go on to say it was deliberately spread? Who was it that went about deliberately spreading it? Gardeners?

Actually it was the farmer's who deliberately bought infected rabbit carcasses onto their land and left them by occupied warrens.The rabbit flea then infected the whole warren killing those not immune to it.
The rabbit is seen as a pest in some areas as they can consume crops.
