am i the only one who actually likes eating orange peel? Zesty!!!

In my much younger days I used to scrape off the white inner lining off off the peels with my bottom teeth. Although the lining is not sweet or even particularly full of flavor I think I enjoyed the scraping as a minor skill developed through practice to remove the edible lining without breaking too many of the oily cells of the skin overwhelmed your taste buds with sharp, bitter orange flavor. It also satisfied my mother's imperative not to waste food.
