Dead Souls...

Ahhh! An entry to a band which deserved one!
May I add a little?
There's another compilation out there called '1977-1980' which's got the following track list:
1. Warsaw
2. Leaders of Men
3. Digital
4. Autosuggestion
5. Transmission
6. She's lost Control
7. Incubation
8. Dead Souls
9. Atmosphere
10. Love will tear Us apart
11. No Love lost
12. Failures
13. Glass
14. Fram Safety to where
15. Novelty
16. Komakino
17. These Days
Interesting fact that 'Dead Souls' by Nine Inch Nails e.g. found on the 'The Crow' - OST is just a cover version of Joy Division.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed "Dead Souls" missing from the list, as it is one of my favourite Joy Division titles

Just for the sake of completion: Garden of Delight did another cover version of Dead Souls.

From the track listing listed above, it sounds like the record in question is actually the Substance compilation. I've got it myself, and it has exactly the same running order. It could be that it was repackaged under the name you mentioned. It doesn't have a grey cover by any chance, does it?

Dark cover with green letters, like symbols - one big one on front, nine spelling 'substance' on the inside.
CD itself is grey with one small green symbol.
You can find details of all JD songs (track history, lyrics, cover versions, etc.) here...
