This was a terrifically interesting article, great at pointing out the cultural, societal matrix. It was also great at describing the people involved with their personalities. Thanks for the engineering explanations as well. Bravo!

One of my favourite bridges in the world - wonderful entry giving a real insight into the construction. 
(Do you think somebody could tidy up the "him him" under the master mechanic section, and the "the the" in the penultimate para?)

What a great entry . I went half way across it once [the bridge] most impressive . Good views of the skyscrapers of Manhatten .
