A Conversation for The Phlorescent Leech and Eddie - the Band
Flo & Eddie on the Road

Flo & Eddie were often as much about humor as about music. In concert the band had a remarkable bent for parody, deservedly puncturing many of the inflated egos of '70s rock.
As befit anyone who served under Zappa, F&E regarded nothing as sacred. The group opened for Alice Cooper on his Billion Dollar Babies tour, and Mark took the opportunity to skewer George Harrison's hoarse vocals on the latter's disastrous US tour of the time. About two bars of a voice-cracking "My Sweet Lord" sendup were enough to convulse most audiences.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
