As a former call centre employee I can let you into the secret of confusing call centre staff.
All you have to do is phone up and say how much you enjoy using product XXX. Let them know that your life has been changed for the better by using XXX and that you are telling all your friends about it. Most importantly, praise the level of service that you have recieved from the operator you have spoken to and from their comrades. The operator is then left with a confused expression as they were expecting a "screamer" on the end of the phone, were steeling themselves for a verbal ear-bashing and are unable to use the stock excuses to leap to the defense of product XXX. The now completely befuddled operator will go away and inform their comrades that there is someone in the world stupid enough to get pleasure from using XXX, especially when everyone that works for XXX knows that YYY is a superior product. Congratulations, you have just made someone's day.
In all seriousness though, if you get good service from a call centre employee, please let the company know. The better call centres have reward schemes for giving outstanding service, and your praise might mean that the operator not only gets a lift from your comments, but may also get a bonus from their management.
