Countries that now suffer more water shortages, they could build desalination plants, but won't - no profit in it
greenhouse gases, any country could build forms of atmospheric extraction plants (similar to distilleries/splitting chemicals at various temperatures)to remove various gases - no profit in it
this world is under the control of PROFIT before anything. Oil being the world leader - it controls the entire planets monetary system.
Until the worlds "rulers"not actually governments start thinking PLANET not PROFIT
then YES! life on earth is doomed - as lands sink under water - wars for land will ensue and rule of barbarianism and feudal overlords will return
But were safefor about 100 odd years or so
