Let's hear it for Fireball XL5! Anderson didn't 'finally get it right' with Stingray.

Just watch the introduction to the programme and dare deny it's greatness.

It is bad enough that poor Fireball was in black and white and never enjoyed top slot in TV21, without having it written off as the series that came the one before Anderson got it right!

Oh my absolute all time favourite.

Oh, it's a little tinkering of mine with a line I heard in a song.

I don't have a full time job right now but I'm on the payroll at the CD store where I used to work, helping the bloke who owns it to refurbish and expand the store into the back where we used to store the overstock CDs, and move everything from there into the new warehouse next door. I was getting 30-40 hours a week doing that until the week before Christmas, but then he stopped all refurbishment work to concentrate on Christmas sales, so I didn't get any work from him last week.

Another truck arrived on Wednesday though, with all the new LP fixtures, so I've been building them this week, and I'll be painting them next week. He says that he wants to give me a couple of days a week sorting out and filing the half a million or so overstock CDs in the warehouse, but I want to talk to him about working there on a full time basis again. He doesn't want to have me behind the counter again because I... tell customers when I think they're out of order Politely, but firmly I don't believe in the customer service ethis that prints the word 'Doormat' across the forehead of sales assistants So, as a result of that he had a few complaints about me, and although I was never rude or abusive to a customer, and was always justified in saying what I said to them, he doesn't like that sort of thing I could rant on and on about customer service and what it does to both customers and retail staff for hours

But I've got to do the laundry, get some breakfast, and then go to work

just over 15 mins to go here, so .... A VERY HAPPY 2005 to you & hope things are getting just better & better. Speak soon
