A Conversation for Prions

Excellent article on a topical subject. Hopefully it will make people start to realise why prion diseases cannot be treated in the same way as other diseases. It's also good to see a complex subject written about in easy to understand terms.

It's funny how one person can make a subject seem so impenetrable and another can make it seem so easy to understand. Brill

I think someone, probobly and editor, should move the old conversation to the edited page. I don't want to lose any of those great memories from an unedited era.

Your right, It's three, but we'll need more if we want to petition the Editors.

did they say so? The mere facts should be enough, IMHO!

Make that 5! Shame to lose all those previous discussions.
In any case, it's good to see this made it into the edited guide.
Nice one, Sal

Ooh, hello everyone. Thank you for your kind comments. Nice to see y'all! What've you been up to? Looks as though there's a plot abrewin' here. The thread won't disappear if it doesn't move, will it? What's going on? Ah?

If you're in Sal, that'll make six, and that's all the regulars! We can now ask the Editor of you page to move the old thread to the new page! Let's have a song "For she's a jolly good fellow, for she's a jolly good fellow," C'mon everbody!

I don't think this is a good idea, because there are only two threads in the original, and...
One is the Peer Review thread, and although it's long and gets into good territory, it starts off talking about paragraphs that should be added and so on... so it wouldn't make sense in the forum for the Edited version. The second one is short and hasn't been posted to since January.
Sorry - if you can come up a good argument for a move (except for 'Yeah, I agree!') I'll listen. I can't split threads in half and only move the relevant bits, and besides, the threads haven't disappeared or anything. They're just in the right place.

Fair enough Mark, it IS still around and to be honest, I actually didn't even realise it was the Peer Review thread, I started posting to it long after the article had been reccomended as was pointed to the article by Wumbeevil. Ho Hum. Should hopefully get some new folks around here anyway

We could always post a link here to the middle of that thread, if we can agree on an appropriate place to "start"...?
